Alex Carr won the 2008 Optimist Oratorical Competition for all
of Southern California and a $1500 scholarship

award in the organization's 36 year history for a humorous
article he wrote for the Valley Roadrunner newspaper in 2008

Mystery High, Samantha Carr's full-length comedy thriller,
was a finalist in the 2007 iVIE awards
(Interactive Video in Education)

Mystery High was also named a finalist at the
Fallbrook Film Festival

Sammi was also named 2007's
"Storyteller of the Year" at the VCTV Video Awards

And Alex won the 2007 statewide CABE writing contest for his
essay, "My Bilingual Rewards" (click to read the complete

Congratulations to Sins of the Father for winning three 2006
VCTV Awards for Best Original Music, Best Writing,
and Best Picture of the Year


In 2006, Sins of the Father won Sammi's high school its first and
still only first place San Diego County iVIE trophy

Alex also received a 2006 iVIE Award for his video,

Brother Bluto Did Last Summer

San Diego County
